Knitter, Knitting.

I posted the pattern for Belles On Their Toes a year ago today.  It was the first pattern I ever wrote.  The reception on Ravelry was incredible.  Everyone has been so supportive and helpful.
So as a thank you, I have reposted a new spiffy pdf file for you all (same pattern, it just looks better)
Go ahead and check it out. It is FREE after all!

I was very lucky to have stumbled upon an old sewing machine at the local good will. Thirty seven bucks for a pretty well working machine. The only thing causing problems is the bobbin winder.
Still, I am very lucky to have it. The bag and collar are my first two test projects.

Tiny book on cats.
It was going to be stuffed… But I was too lazy to dig out stuffing from my craft box.

Hey.
I am making a call for test knitters.
It is for my fox ear pattern.
I won’t be able to pay anyone. But you will get a free copy of the finished draft! And possibly another little pattern.
I am just looking for people to knit the pattern using any yarn and any color. I just need feed back on how to improve the pattern and for you to highlight
I only ask that you have a ravelry through which we can communicate.
If you are interested contact me here:

I decided to spruce up my shorts for summer.
I think that was a good decision.

Anonymous asked: Do you know the technique you used to make the Luna moth wings?

I used the stranded method for the color work. All the shaping was done using decreases and increases.  Honestly, it has been a while, and almost all the the moth was knit free hand (I didn’t have any reference except for a photo of a lunar moth)

I hope one day to chart and pattern the whole thing.  But my pattern writing skills aren’t quite there yet :)

Anonymous asked: Can I pay you for those Fox ear pattern?

There is no pattern available yet.

But I am working on one :)

Check back soon!

So, a while ago I embroidered some fabric. I didn’t know what to do with it until my friend offered to make it into a bag for me.
The outcome isn’t perfect… But it is lovely.
It shall be a gift for my sister.

Ravelry: hhggrega's Projects

I updated my Ravelry.

It took me a few hours. But almost every project I have worked on in the last year are there.  Lots of photos.

Anonymous asked: What's your revelry?

My ravelry page.

It is not very up to date.  I want to change that soon.

But I do have free sock patterns!!

Anonymous asked: Do you have a pattern that's free for the Fox ears yours are perfect!

Sorry, I do not.  It’s a super secret recipe ;)

Anonymous asked: The wings on your death moth are they stuffed or is it double knit?

Neither. They are two sided. One is the top and the other is the bottom.  They are just whipped stitched together.

Double knitting them sounds easier… but trust me, it is not.

Working on a new idea. Little felt embroidered patches/brooches.
I don’t have a way to cut a perfect circle though.
Any ideas?

Anonymous asked: Do you have a pattern for those mittens?

I do, at least for the mitten part. But I don’t really have anything for the lace overlay since I really just wing those…

Anonymous asked: Do you have a pattern for the moth with the skulls on them?

I have a color chart pattern for the wings. But not a full pattern on how to make them.
